Where Performance Meets Longevity Therapy

ProPerformance is Omni Physical & Aquatic Therapy's approach to helping you move, perform, and age on your own terms. Built on clinically established balance and motion technology, ProPerformance pairs objective assessment with hands-on therapy to support athletic performance, healthy aging, mental sharpness, and inner-ear balance — all under one program, tracked with real data, starting with your very first visit.

Every Omni office offers the program, and together the five offices make up the Omni ProPerformance Center.

The Technology Behind ProPerformance

ProPerformance is powered by three connected tools, each doing a specific job in your care plan.

  • ProBalance 360: our core evaluation and training platform. In about five minutes, ProBalance 360 measures your Stability Function Index — an objective, easy-to-understand score of your balance and coordination — and becomes the foundation of your personalized ProPerformance plan.
  • ProBalance 720: our expanded platform, built on the same technology as ProBalance 360, designed for higher-intensity training and higher-volume care — ideal for patients and programs that need more capacity.
  • Mechanical Motion Therapy: the hands-on treatment at the center of your plan. Mechanical Motion Therapy delivers comfortable, high-speed, percussive therapy to soft tissue while you move — retraining the muscles and neural pathways responsible for balance and coordination.

Is Your Balance Working Against You?

Balance isn't something most people think about — until it starts slipping. Maybe you've felt a little less steady on your feet. Maybe your golf swing or your tennis serve isn't what it used to be. Maybe you've had a few too many close calls with dizziness, or you're worried about a parent who seems "off" lately. All of these are connected to the same system in your body — and the good news is, that system can be tested, trained, and improved at any age.

That's what ProPerformance does. It starts with a simple, painless ProBalance evaluation, followed by Mechanical Motion Therapy to help retrain your body's balance system. We call this whole approach Longevity Therapy — because balance isn't just about avoiding a fall, it's one of the clearest windows we have into how well you're aging. Here's who it helps, and why.

Athletes and Weekend Warriors — Every Age, Every Level

Better balance means better performance, and fewer injuries.

Whether you're a teenager chasing a starting spot, a weekend golfer, or a lifelong runner who isn't ready to slow down, balance is the hidden ingredient in almost everything you do physically. It's part of how fast you cut, how steady your swing is, and how well your body recovers between reps.

Research on athletes shows that balance and coordination training can improve agility, reaction time, and sport-specific skills — while also lowering the risk of the kinds of joint injuries that keep people sidelined. It's not just for elite athletes, either. The same training that helps a soccer player cut sharper can help a 55-year-old tennis player stay in the game longer, injury-free.

ProBalance starts with a quick evaluation to see exactly where your balance stands today, then builds a plan to sharpen it — so you can move with more confidence, on the field or on the course.

Longevity Therapy — The Science of Aging Well

Your balance may be one of the strongest clues to how long, and how well, you'll live.

Here's a fact that surprises most people: something as simple as how steadily you can stand can say a lot about your long-term health. A widely reported study, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, found that adults who struggled with a simple 10-second balance test faced a notably higher health risk over the following decade — a finding significant enough that NBC News covered it as one of the most telling health indicators available.

This is the idea behind Longevity Therapy: treating balance not just as a fall-prevention checkbox, but as a real, measurable piece of your long-term health — right alongside things like blood pressure or cholesterol. Every ProBalance evaluation gives you a concrete, trackable number. Every session of Mechanical Motion Therapy is a step toward protecting the strength, independence, and vitality you want for years to come. It's not an anti-aging gimmick — it's a proactive, evidence-informed way to invest in the decades ahead.

Staying Strong as You Age

Longevity Therapy in action: helping your body stay independent, capable, and steady.

As we get older, balance naturally declines — it's one of the quiet reasons falls become more common, and one of the biggest threats to staying active and independent. The encouraging part: research consistently shows that balance training works at any age, including for people in their 80s and beyond. Studies show real improvements in strength, walking speed, and overall activity levels after just a few weeks of focused balance work.

ProBalance gives you a clear starting point — a simple score that shows exactly how your balance compares to where it should be — and a plan to help you rebuild it. It's a proactive way to protect your independence, instead of waiting for a fall to force the conversation.

Protecting Your Mind, Not Just Your Steps

Balance and brain health are more connected than most people realize.

Here's something surprising: your sense of balance and your brain's cognitive health are closely linked. Researchers have found that people with weaker balance and inner-ear function tend to score lower on tests of memory, attention, and mental sharpness — and that the parts of the brain responsible for balance are directly wired into the parts responsible for thinking clearly.

This doesn't mean a balance problem causes memory loss, or that fixing your balance will reverse it. But it does mean that keeping this system strong is a meaningful part of taking care of your long-term brain health — and that a balance evaluation can be a valuable, easy first step in a bigger conversation about aging well. Some of the best results come from combining balance work with light mental exercises at the same time — something we build directly into your ProPerformance plan.

Finally Making Sense of Dizziness

If you've ever felt unsteady, off-balance, or dizzy for no clear reason, you're far from alone.

Millions of adults deal with some form of inner-ear (vestibular) imbalance — and it can make everyday life feel unpredictable. Turning your head too fast, standing up quickly, or walking in a dim room can suddenly feel unsafe. The good news: this is one of the most well-researched, treatable areas of balance care, with decades of evidence showing real improvement is possible.

ProBalance gives us an objective, easy way to measure what's actually happening with your balance — not just how you feel, but real data we can track over time. From there, we build a plan designed to calm the dizziness and retrain your body's sense of stability, so you can move through your day without that unsteady feeling holding you back.
