Chiropractic Care
Omni provides chiropractic care at all five Connecticut offices: East Haven, Meriden, Milford, Wallingford (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and West Haven. Licensed chiropractic physicians diagnose and treat conditions of the neuromusculoskeletal system using hands-on, drug-free techniques. They coordinate with Omni's physical therapists and, through the practice's medical affiliations, with medical doctors and other providers involved in your care.
At Omni, our chiropractors work collaboratively with physical therapists to support an individualized, personal care plan, and draw on the practice's medical affiliations when your care calls for a medical doctor or specialist. Your chiropractic physician will take a health history, make a diagnosis, and formulate a treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns and will communicate with the other members of your healthcare team to order any tests or services that may be necessary, such as x-rays, MRI, or specialist referral.
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that uses hands-on techniques and natural means to improve the body's neuromusculoskeletal system. Doctors of Chiropractic are highly trained physicians licensed to perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and treat patients through chiropractic adjustment (joint manipulation), physio-therapeutic interventions, vitamins, exercise and diet prescription, and patient education.
Whether your problem arose from a trauma such as a car accident, you hurt yourself at work, or you just woke up with a sore neck and have no idea what happened — your chiropractor at Omni is ideally positioned to help and guide you to feeling your best.

Instrument-assisted treatment technologies
Beyond hands-on adjustment, Omni offers several instrument-assisted treatment technologies. The ProAdjuster SRT is available at all five Omni offices, and providers across the practice offer it as a gentle, low-force alternative to a traditional manual adjustment. Ask the office nearest you about the others:
- ProAdjuster: a computerized, instrument-assisted chiropractic system that analyzes spinal joint motion and delivers gentle, low-force adjustments without the manual twisting or cracking of a traditional adjustment.
- ProAdjuster SRT: the newest generation of the ProAdjuster system. SRT stands for Simultaneous Ramp Treatment, which means the instrument's force and frequency increase together for a smooth, controlled, low-force adjustment.
- ProSoft SRT: the soft tissue counterpart to the ProAdjuster SRT. It applies controlled instrument treatment while you perform specific guided movements, working muscles, ligaments, and tendons through Mechanical Motion Therapy.
- ProSoft GT: a portable version of the ProSoft instrument with light, medium, and firm force settings, used for soft tissue treatment and guided movement work wherever your care happens.
- ProBalance 360: a computerized balance system that measures balance and stability and helps guide a personalized balance and fall-prevention program.
- ProMotion Mechanical Motion Therapy (MMT): an instrument-assisted technique that combines gentle instrument treatment with patient movement to support joint mobility and range of motion.
Performance and balance training
Omni also offers a computer-guided performance and balance training program that pairs computerized balance assessment with instrument-assisted Mechanical Motion Therapy. The program is available at every Omni office. See the Performance & Balance Training service page for details.
ProAdjuster: precise, gentle chiropractic care
If the thought of a traditional adjustment makes you hesitate, ProAdjuster was built with you in mind: a computer-guided instrument that finds exactly where your spine needs help and delivers a gentle, precise correction. No twisting. No popping. No guesswork.
