Auto Accident Injury Care
Omni Physical & Aquatic Therapy treats car accident injuries, including whiplash, neck and back pain, muscle strains, and concussion-related symptoms, with coordinated chiropractic care and physical therapy at five Connecticut locations, and works with your healthcare team and insurance documentation needs.
Car accidents send a great many people to seek medical attention every year. If you've been involved in a collision, you may suffer injuries that are immediately painful, or symptoms may develop hours, days, or weeks after the accident. Early intervention matters.
After an accident there is so much to deal with: insurance companies, the other driver, appointments, lost time from work or school. It's tempting to push through your injuries or expect them to resolve on their own. But waiting for symptoms to resolve on their own following motor vehicle trauma can be a big mistake: whiplash injuries, concussion, dislocations, and fractures often require treatment and rehabilitation to return you to your previous level of comfort and function.
At Omni, we strive for excellence when caring for people injured in auto accidents. Our care is thorough, safe, individualized, and centered on each patient's goals — and we stay current on the most recent research and guidelines so your care is effective and safe.

Auto Accidents — frequently asked questions
- How soon after a car accident should I get checked?
- As soon as possible, even if you feel fine. Whiplash and soft-tissue injury symptoms commonly appear hours, days, or even weeks after a collision, and early evaluation can support your recovery while documenting your injuries when the accident is recent. Same day appointments are available. Call the office nearest you.
- Does Omni handle the insurance side of accident injury care?
- We have years of experience working with auto insurance claims. Bring your claim information to your first visit and our staff will help keep clear records for your adjuster while you focus on recovery.
- Do you work with attorneys or accept liens on car accident cases?
- Yes. On personal-injury auto accident cases, we can accept an attorney lien or letter of protection, which lets you begin treatment while billing is coordinated as part of your case. Bring your attorney's contact information to your first visit and our billing staff will coordinate the paperwork.
- Which Omni location should I go to after an accident?
- Whichever of our five Connecticut offices is most convenient — East Haven, Meriden, Milford, Wallingford, or West Haven. All five treat auto accident injuries, and we'll coordinate chiropractic care, physical therapy, or aquatic therapy across locations if your recovery calls for it.
