Workers' Compensation Injury Care

Omni Physical & Aquatic Therapy treats work-related injuries under Connecticut workers' compensation at five locations, providing coordinated chiropractic care and physical therapy. Our billing department verifies your workers' comp coverage and obtains visit approval so you can focus on recovering and returning to work.

Getting injured at work is both common and traumatic. Treatment is the first step on your road to recovery so you can return to work pain-free as soon as possible.

The workers' compensation claim process can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Omni can help with both sides of the process: our billing department verifies your workers' compensation insurance and gets visit approval, while your provider builds a treatment plan focused on pain relief and a safe return to work.

Common workplace injuries we treat

  • Lumbar and thoracic spine strains
  • Shoulder strains and associated shoulder injuries
  • Neck injuries and impingements
  • Herniated discs and lower back pain
  • Repetitive use and overuse injuries
  • Job-site accidents, injuries, and trauma

How the process works

After a work injury, report it to your supervisor and file a claim with your employer. Then come see us. Your treating provider at Omni takes a detailed history, performs an examination, makes a diagnosis, and forms an individualized treatment plan: chiropractic care, physical therapy, further testing or imaging, a modified return-to-work plan, or a combination.

Your recovery typically begins with focused treatment to address pain and acute symptoms, paired with stretching, exercise programs, and other modalities to restore range of motion and mobility. The final phase transitions you into a work conditioning and strengthening program matched to your job's demands — supporting a safe return and reducing re-injury risk when you return.
