Aquatic therapy, physical therapy, and chiropractic care
Omni's Wallingford office is home to our aquatic therapy program, with warm-water rehabilitation in a dedicated therapy pool alongside full outpatient physical therapy. Care is provided by physical therapist Khurrum Khan, DPT and physical therapist assistant Bianca Marmolejos, PTA.
Chiropractic care is also available in Wallingford with chiropractic physician Dr. Chris Giannos, who sees patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Aquatic therapy is a core part of Omni's Wallingford care. The pool's warm water helps reduce stress on painful joints so patients can begin movement and strengthening with less strain.
Khurrum Khan, DPT is a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy out of Wallingford, CT, which is home to the practice's warm-water aquatic therapy pool and outpatient physical therapy gym. He has more than 20 years of experience and truly values helping people through therapeutic treatment, exercises, and training.
Bianca Marmolejos, PTA is a licensed physical therapist assistant with over 31 years of experience in rehabilitation, home health, and skilled nursing care. She specializes in therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and pain management. Bianca is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of function through compassionate, individualized care.
She is also bilingual, fluent in Spanish, and committed to providing exceptional care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Chris (Hristos) K. Giannos, D.C., M.S., C.C.S.P. is a chiropractic physician who sees patients at Omni's Wallingford office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Originally from Ioannina, Greece, he now lives in New Haven County. He completed his undergraduate studies in biological sciences at the University of Connecticut and holds two degrees from the University of Bridgeport: a doctorate in chiropractic medicine and a master's degree in human nutrition.
He is board certified in chiropractic sports medicine (C.C.S.P.) and brings experience from integrated Connecticut practices whose staff included medical doctors, naturopaths, and massage therapists.
Dr. Giannos is passionate about working with professional athletes, weekend warriors, and everyday patients alike to help them reach their specific health goals. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys traveling in Greece and playing soccer.
The physical therapists are amazing! They listen to you, answer your questions, help you to understand what's occurred to give you pain, how it is being addressed, and what you can do to speed the healing process. They have put me back together after a home accident, a car accident and post-surgery. I can't recommend them more highly, you're in good hands.
